And that’s a wrap for our 2017 Fraser Island trip! A 4×4 enthusiast’s paradise, a trip to Fraser Island makes for the perfect 4×4 adventure and also a fantastic opportunity to do some R&D.
And what better machines to take than the legendary Toyota LandCruiser? We had both ends of the LandCruiser spectrum covered with the rough and ready 70 Series ‘Troopy’ on one end and the big, comfy Prado on the other. Both ‘Cruisers were decked out in a whole catalogue of adventure gear – everything needed to survive out Fraser Island’s challenging terrain.
The Toyota’s were also fitted with our Bilstein B60 shocks which proved to be the perfect choice for our journey. Tested and developed for the harsh conditions we have here in Australia, the B60 shocks were perfectly suited to our Fraser Island trip and provided outstanding performance.
