The Defender name is not only legendary in the world of off-roading, but to automotive history as a whole. Land Rover’s rugged, go-anywhere 4×4 icon is undoubtedly a cult classic, well-loved by enthusiasts the world over.
It’s great to see these machines still kicking about. This classic Defender came in looking like it’s had a life well lived to say the least. Having gotten on in terms of age it’s safe to that it was in desperate need of a suspension refresh.
We fitted a set of new springs and a brand-new set of Bilstein B6 shock absorbers. And with nothing more than a simple spring and shock upgrade, the Defender’s handling is transformed – even better than when it first rolled of the assembly line many moons ago.
With such a simple supension refresh, this Land Rover Defender is ready for countless more years of hard service.
